Everyday Make-Up

So, I thought I'd finally share my go-to war paint routine. I tend to keep it light for the base as too heavy duty foundations really do not suit me as I'm really not one who can pull off too much make-up - it strangely makes me look really sallow and my eyes, lifeless. Even though I hate my rosy cheeks, I can put up with them so that my skin can still peer through and give me that youthful, fresh face. The only extra I feel I need is L'oreal Touche Magique Concealer for under the eyes and it's glowing.
Dr.Jart+ Waterfuse BB Cream really does give a wonderful finish, and although the shade's not perfect, I can still work with it. I think regardless of the colour situation, you want to go light with the application as I've found that's just more flattering. Set with my new Avon translucent powder (and it definitely needs setting), and it's good to go.

For convenience reasons, the eyes are pretty simple with a smear of 17's Wild Eyes cream eye base in 'Wild Nude' followed by a touch of some neutral toned eyeshadow and bronzer in the crease and a good coating of Bourjois 'Twist Up the Volume' mascara
This MUA matte palette is a great all-rounder as I also use it for the brows along with my Rimmel Brow Pencil to give me my desired thickness and shape.

Contour is essential for this moon faced gal and my new found pal for this job is NYX's blush in Taupe - a cooler toned colour and is good enough for my skin tone. I don't think it's quite 'the one', but the formula and finish is still lovely. I've got my eye on Illamasqua's hollow and their contour duo for when the next student loan installment makes an appearance.
A touch of my Stila Sun Bronzer and Soap and Glory's 'Glow all Out' for highlight and a swipe of Stila's pigmented Lip Glaze in Papaya and I'm all set.

A bit simple, yes, but day to day, I think it's understated and natural.
What are your go-to products for everyday?
