I finally got time to get an outfit shot! Fashion is what I want to feature mainly on this blog, but with the OH unavailable until the weekend and paired with crappy weather, it's not always easy. Also, ironically, I absolutely hate being in front of the camera as I'm so self conscious about my level of unphotogenic-ness. However my passion for personal style is what drives me along with my desire to get more professional looking photos (must educate the boyfriend in white balance first).
Anyhoo, this outfit has been one of my go-to for a while now for both day time and drinks at night. My style is predominantly oversized boyfriend shirt, high-waist jeans and boots. This is no different. Yes it's somewhat double denim, and yes I did iron it before believe it or not, but I think it works as it has a cool edge. Plus, I finally got my hands on a skinny scarf - an accessory I wasn't feeling until I tried it on, but I like. Styled as a choker is a common thing for me now.
And an acknowledgement to my favourite jeans: I haven't found a pair of high-waisted jeans that fit as well as these ASOS ones. I have a few pairs in different washes and they're crazy comfy, accentuate all the right areas and most importantly; I feel confident in them. The boots may be love-hate for some, but they're not OTT patent. Adds an extra dimension to a simple outfit.
