SULDN for Topshop

On Thursday I was lucky enough to attend the Topshop launch event for
SULDN, a vibrant East London brand created by print designer Sera Ulger. The line has a 90s reminiscence feel, acknowledging the whole girl power movement with the hella' bright colours capturing all the sass. For a girl with a taste for monochrome, I was out of my fashion comfort zone, but I couldn't help but appreciate the quality and individuality each piece had to offer. We got to mingle with Sera herself learning how particular pieces of the line are hand painted and made in London based factories and mills. Got to love the little things.

After a little wine and catching up between friends, a little catwalk session gave us a little better insight of how the pieces were to be styled and how they moved. Models pull everything off, right? Did each outfit justice - particular love for the pink jacket with fur. I have a weakness for the softness.

I'm excited to see how the line does now exposed to the world of Topshop. It's great to have some unique fashion options available on the high street, particularly UK designed and made - you know you're investing in pieces designed with consideration and a little better quality. Maybe it's time I jazzed up my wardrobe a little...

Any pieces take your fancy? Remember you can always keep up with snippets into SULDN's line on Instagram too.
